Admissions Process

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in joining the Evangel community. Our desire is to provide you with the information you need to make the best educational decision for your family. We have a simple three-step process: inquire, visit, and apply. We look forward to getting to know your family and sharing the Evangel story with you.

STEP 1: INQUIRE

We are grateful for your interest in Evangel Christian Academy. Choosing a school for your child is a significant decision, and we want to help you determine if Evangel is right for your family. The first step is to fill out this INQUIRY FORM. Upon submission, our admissions coordinator will reach out to you to begin the admissions process.

STEP 2: VISIT

The best way to determine if Evangel is a good fit for your family is through a private tour with our admissions coordinator. You will have the opportunity to meet members of our faculty and staff, see how our classical curriculum plays out in the classroom, and ask the questions that will help you decide if Evangel is right for your child’s needs.

STEP 3: APPLY

Once you have toured Evangel, the next step is to move forward with the application process. You can find the Evangel application HERE. Once you have filled out your application and paid your application fee, you will be contacted by our admissions coordinator to schedule a student assessment and parent interview.

A Note from our Admissions Coordinator

Dear Prospective Family,

We are honored you are considering partnering with Evangel Christian Academy. Evangel is the only accredited classical Christian school in Colorado Springs, with a heritage of more than 50 years of offering high-level Christian education to our community. Given the average US child spends about 16,000 hours at school before they graduate, school choice is an incredibly important decision. We want to help you discern the right path for your family.

Classical Christian education establishes a biblical worldview, incorporates teaching methods based on a child’s natural development, cultivates Christian virtues, and trains students in reasoning and critical thinking. More than simply adding a bible class to an academic curriculum, our classes are integrated around the truth that God is the Creator of all that exists, and all knowledge is therefore interrelated and ultimately points back to Him.

We invite you to consider who you want your child to be when they are 20, 40, or 60 years old and beyond. A life-long love of God is cultivated at a young age, and the school-age years are crucial for forming a lasting relationship with the Lord that is rooted in the pursuit of His truth.

Our mission is to partner with parents and their church to educate, equip and empower students to pursue their purpose in Christ. If this resonates with you, please reach out to begin the admissions process at Evangel Christian Academy.

In Him,

Katie Buell
