Pre-K

Evangel Pre-Kindergarten is a time of exploration, imagination, and age-appropriate teacher-directed learning. The classroom is marked by personalized attention, with an emphasis on children knowing, above all else, that they are deeply loved by the Lord and by their teachers.

Our youngest Eagles look forward to creative classroom experiences that allow them to explore through center-based learning. Students rotate through hands-on activities that develop fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and creativity, while also engaging in gently structured academic work. The school day is purposeful yet flexible; joyful yet productive. Delightful discovery is celebrated.

Pre-K students also learn the habits and rhythms of the school day, which prepares them to move onto Kindergarten. Within those habits are opportunities to grow socially as children learn to share, take turns, and treat others with kindness and respect.

Housed in a separate part of our campus, our Pre-K program is designed to feel safe and comfortable for children who may be entering school for the first time. Most of the school day takes place in the dedicated Pre-K classrooms, but students also enjoy music, P.E., Chapel services, and special events in our adjacent Elementary building.

Our Pre-K students are taught to love the Lord and treasure His Word, obey their teachers with a joyful heart, and show kindness to their classmates. Reach out through our inquiry form if you would like more information.

Unfortunately, we do not offer care options for before school (prior to 8:15am) or after school (after 3:00pm). Pre-K has fee based options to extend the day until the Elementary pickup time between 2:50pm and 3:00pm.

We do not offer tuition assistance for Pre-K. You can find tuition information for other grades HERE.

We do not have uniform requirements, but we do have a dress code. You can access that information HERE.

For families who need help with transportation, we offer limited shuttle services.

Parents are not required to volunteer, but they are called upon often throughout the year to help out in various ways. Parents can choose to be highly involved if their schedule allows.

We take security very seriously, and we regularly consult with experts in the field to make sure our security protocols are properly up-to-date. In order to keep our campus safe, specific security information is shared with families upon admission.

The admissions process begins with filling out our inquiry form. From there, our admissions coordinator will reach out to schedule a personalized tour. Older elementary and secondary students are given the option to schedule a shadow day where they can sit in on classes and meet other students. When those steps are complete, parents will begin the application process, which will include student assessments and parent interviews.

What Our Families Say…

A family of six standing together outdoors

“As parents, it is our desire to raise strong children in the Lord – children who will have a firm foundation of faith, who will learn to think critically and independently, and who will become leaders of their generation. We believe the home and school, along with the church, are designed to partner together in this task. Evangel Christian Academy has been that partner.”
