College Preparation and
Dual-Enrollment Credit Opportunities
At Evangel, we offer college and career counseling to help students and parents navigate the transition out of high school. It is our goal to equip students with the tools they need to pursue their God-given calling, whether they move on to college or into the workforce.
We offer one-on-one counseling that considers each student’s unique strengths, interests, and goals. Students can receive advice on choosing a college, engaging in the application processes, scholarships, and career pathways. Our counseling integrates a biblical worldview, helping students discern how their faith intersects with their educational and career choices.
Students have several opportunities to earn college credit while enrolled in Evangel. We offer between 8-10 classes that qualify for college credit through Colorado Christian University. Offerings are subject to change based on interest and enrollment but in the past have included classes such as:
- Humanities: Modernity
- American Humanities
- Rhetoric
- Worldviews
- Senior Seminar
- Senior Thesis
- AP Language and Composition
- C.S.Lewis Film and Literature
Colorado Christian University also offers a number of dual-enrollment courses through their CCU Academy. You can find more information HERE.
A third option for earning college credits while enrolled at Evangel is through CAMPUS EDU. You can find more information on our dedicated CAMPUS EDU page HERE.
Whether students pursue college credits while at Evangel or upon graduation, it is our goal to provide them with the support they need to move confidently in the Lord’s next steps for them. Please reach out to our College and Career counselor if you have questions or would like more information.
