Evangel Christian Academy (ECA) exists to partner with parents and their church to educate, equip, and empower students to pursue their purpose in Christ.

Evangel Christian Academy seeks to affect the Kingdom of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, through students who are mature in their Christian faith and effective in their church, family, work, and world for the glory of God.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Evangel Christian Academy is founded on the centrality and preeminence of Christ in all things. The truth of Christ is integrated throughout our curriculum. Our educational process is Christ-centered and child-focused, nurturing strong spiritual, social and academic growth. We employ classical educational methodologies to assure that our students know the truth, reason in truth and are persuasive for truth. At ECA, we believe that developing the hearts and minds of students to be life long learners with Biblical foundations is paramount. Through our Classical Christian curriculum students are achieving high academic success as well as cultivating a personal relationship with our Savior and Lord
At Evangel, we offer excellent instruction in the Liberal Arts tradition through both full-time and part-time programs. Students have the opportunity to earn college credits through a partnership with Colorado Christian University. We also provide individual and team athletics at all levels, as well as numerous opportunities to engage in the arts. Evangel has been accredited with ACCS (Association of Classical Christian School) since 2018.
Evangel Christian Academy is an affiliate ministry of Village Seven Presbyterian Church. V7PC is a denominational member of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). Information about the denomination can be found at the PCA website. We are honored to serve families representing more than 50 churches throughout Colorado Springs of numerous denominations.
Our Core Convictions
Identity in Christ
When there is intense cultural pressure to find our identity in many other things, we seek first and foremost, both individually and institutionally, to find our identity in Christ. At Evangel, students are pointed to the finished work of Christ as the one and only source of true identity.
Confidence in the Classical Tradition
We follow the long tradition of education rooted in Western Civilization that was embraced and refined by the Christian church for centuries. It is an education focused on the formation of the whole child in wisdom, virtue, and eloquence.
Faithfulness in All Things
We follow the simple and frequent Scriptural command of faithfulness to God. We do that by reading his Word, respecting authorities, listening to our teachers, and honoring our parents. We aim to be faithful in all aspects of education, relationships, business operations, and service.
Gospel-Centered Community
We grow best in the rich soil of relationship and community, especially in the partnership between families, the church, and the school. We emphasize connection and community for both students and parents.
